David Pearson purchased this 1989 Jeep Comanche for $500. The Comanche originally came with a 4.0 L inline-six but David soon swapped it out for a 5.3 L Vortec V8. The engine uses a LS9 cam, upgraded springs, and port/polished heads but the bottom end is completely stock. It produces between 500-550 WHP thanks to a 76 mm turbo producing 18 psi of boost. In the video the Jeep does a 10.90 second quarter-mile at 121.67 mph.

Dave Pearson decided to swap out the six cylinder from his Jeep Comanche with a good old 5.3L V8 and compliment it with a turbo!!
