1990 Mazda 323 Hatchback - Prices & Reviews

My 1990 Mazda 323 (1.6 base model) has been in my family since 1991. My grandmother bought it used when it was 1-yr-old. It went through a major hurricane (andrew) - windows smashed out and full of water and rocks. Got it repaired and it just kept going. The car has been with me since 2000. I have maintained it and had the tranny worked on 3 times. I LOVE THIS CAR. I drive it 50 miles per day (great gas mileage) and have over 200,000 miles on it. I thought I was the only 323 left in Miami until one passed me in traffic yesterday! I want to keep this car until the end of time.

Official recalls have been issued for the 1990 Mazda 323 by the NHTSA. The complete details of all recalls are listed below, along with what they cover and the recommended solutions.

Most 1990 323 owners like their cars because they are good little commuter cars that have excellent fuel efficiency and say that with scheduled maintenance, they are quite reliable. Many complain that they are pretty basic and lack many comfort features like A/C and supportive seats. Because they are inexpensive and easy to customize, 1990 Mazda 323s are popular among modification enthusiasts, who equip them with bigger engines and lots of flashy exterior extras.
